Srinagar: In a video that has gone viral on social media, a Kashmiri man can be seen lying down on the rail track to let a speeding train pass over him. The man can be seen celebrating after completing the death-defying stunt.

The video appears to have been recorded by an accomplice who was there at the spot with him.

The video has taken social media by storm. Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah also tweeted the video asking: "There is something drastically wrong with this sort of adventure seeking. I can't believe the stupidity of these young men."  

The undated video shows a phiran-clad (a traditional Kashmiri cloak) man lying face down in the middle of the track as the train passed over him.

He lets out a celebratory shout after the stunt. There have been several calls on social media for action to be taken against the man for the stunt.
