Bangalore: With Karnataka assembly elections 2013 fast approaching, the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has set up a ‘war room’ to streamline poll strategy. Put in place on the lines of the one at the All India Congress (AICC) in New Delhi, the Karnataka set up is located on No 5, Ali Asker Road in Bangalore, a newspaper reported. Originally a residential bungalow, the house has been converted into a make-shift back-office with a meeting hall, and data centre facilities. Working under the guidance of experts from the AICC war room in Delhi, professionals from fields of image building, opinion formation and public relations will give shape to party’s image ahead of the May 5 Karnataka polls. The report further said that the Congress party has hired the services of public relation firm Perfect Relations for the purpose.
