Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Ajay Singh in a statement said that the death has exposed the claim of development work being undertaken in the state. One-year-old Ananya from Raisen who was admitted to Government-run Hamidia Hospital on April 28 died of malnutrition on Friday while a boy died at J P Hospital on Saturday. Singh said that the government has spent Rs 10,000 crore over the past nine years to end malnutrition but the children were dying from it even in the state capital. He also pointed out that the malnutrition problem was more seen in Satna, Alirajpur, Badwani, Dindori and Sheopur districts. PTI
