Taxmen raid 10 locations across country in connection with DK Shivakumar case

New Delhi: The Income Tax (IT) department officials on Wednesday carried out raids at 10 different locations across Bengaluru, Chennai and Delhi in connection with Karnataka Minister DK Shivakumar case.
The taxmen also conducted a raid at the residence of Bengaluru-based Congress leader Vijay Mulgund.
Earlier on August 2, the I-T department recovered nearly Rs 11 crore in cash after raiding Karnataka Minister DK Shivakumar's Delhi and Bengaluru residences. The tax officials carried out searches in nearly 64 properties across the country, owned by the minister and his family, with the help of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Among the properties searched, also included a private luxury resort outside Bengaluru, where 44 Gujarat Congress legislators were housed.
Shivakumar, the Energy Minister in Congress-led Siddaramaiah government, was housing the 44 legislators till the day of the Rajya Sabha elections, August 8.
