Araria Lok Sabha Constituency, is one of 40 Lok Sabha constituencies in the eastern state of Bihar and cast its vote in the 2019 election on April 23.

Araria registered 64.75 percent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 3.28 percent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1804954 while the total voter turnout is 1168714. While in 2014, the constituency registered 61.47 percent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1587107 while the total voter's turnout was 975538.

Pradeep Kumar Singh of Bharatiya Janata Party, Ram Narayan Bharti of Bahujan Samaj Party and Sarfaraz Alam of Rashtriya Janata Dal are some of the prominent names that will contest the Lok Sabha election 2019 from Araria Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar.

Araria constituency covers six assembly segments –   Narpatganj, Raniganj which is reserved for members of Scheduled Caste, Forbesganj, Araria, Jokhihat and Sikti.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, Mohammed Taslimuddin of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) – won by getting a margin of over 1.46 lakh votes. Pradeep Kumar Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Taslimuddin had secured 407978 votes while Singh got 261474 votes.
