Central govt would soon set up ‘Skill Development Centre’ in all 40 Parliamentary constituencies of Bihar: Rajiv Pratap Rudy

Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Rajiv Pratap Rudy said on Monday that Central government would soon set up a ‘Skill Development Centre in all forty parliamentary constituencies of Bihar.

Delhi: Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Rajiv Pratap Rudy said on Monday that Central government would soon set up a ‘Skill Development Centre in all forty parliamentary constituencies of Bihar.

Addressing a press conference in Patna, the Union Minister talked about the target of Union government to make 50 crore employable people through skill development by 2017.

He added that all technical training curriculum shall compulsory be linked with ‘National Skill Qualification Framework’ for the purpose of getting government jobs.

Comparing the quantum of skilled youths in other countries, he said, only 3% youths in India are having proper skills. Minister also informed that 12,000 ITIs are being updated and modernized for training of 6 lakhs youths.

On the achievement of NDA government at centre, Rudy elaborated the attainment in three major areas - Legislation, People Welfare and Infrastructure and lauded the NDA government of showning courage to pass dozens of legislations in the Parliament in a single year which was not done in the past twenty years.

On people welfare front, to achieve the target of maximum financial inclusion, schemes like - Jan Dhan Yojna, PM Suraksha Bima Yojna, PM Jeevan Jyoti Yojna and Atal Pension Yojna have been started, Rudy stated.

At the same time, the BJP leader outlined the various measures taken by Union government to create conducive environment for infrastructure development in the country, increasing FDI and FII as well.

He also mentioned the positive trends that has already been achieved in terms of containing inflation, growth in GDP and controlling fiscal deficit etc. so far as economy is concerned.

Moreover, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had succeeded in establishing friendly relations not only with the neighbouring countries like Bangladesh, but also with arch rival China, apart from super powers like America.
