Angry Man Utd fans boo Rooney for wanting Chelsea transfer

London: Manchester United fans have turned on troubled star Wayne Rooney, calling him as a `spoilt brat` on Twitter even as Rooney has reportedly put off making a decision on whether to leave until he has weighed up the fans` feelings.

According to the Daily Star, Rooney would be happy to stay on at Old Trafford if the fans cheer him in pre-season games, and will try to force a transfer to Chelsea if they boo him. However, the fans might have resigned themselves to Rooney`s repeated insistences to quit the side and have started bashing him up on Twitter, with a fan calling him a `spoilt brat` on Twitter. Rooney is said to be unhappy after manager David Moyes hinted that he might no longer be first-choice striker, the report added. ANI
