Indo-Pak match at Eden may start few hours earlier
The upcoming India-Pakistan day-night ODI at the Eden Gardens on January 3 could be advanced to 12 noon instead of a 2.30 pm start to tackle the heavy dew factor.
Kolkata: The upcoming India-Pakistan day-night ODI at the Eden Gardens on January 3 could be advanced to 12 noon instead of a 2.30 pm start to tackle the heavy dew factor.
"It`s heavy dew couple with fog during this time of the year. We will seek the Board`s permission to advance the One-dayer for a few hours so that the match gets over early before the dew falls," CAB joint secretary Subir Ganguly, who is in Delhi for a marketing committee meeting of the Board, said.
"The early start will also help the spectators to leave early, I am sure we will get the Board`s nod," he added.
It appears that the third one-dayer in Delhi on January 6 may also be advanced.
India will host Pakistan for a two T20 and three ODI series with Kolkata hosting the second One-dayer.
