Youth held for trying to rape mentally-challenged girl

Rewari: A 23-year-old youth was arrested for allegedly trying to rape a minor mentally challenged girl here, police said on Sunday.

Vicky, a resident of Delhi, who was staying with his relative in Rajiv Nagar colony here, tried to rape the 17-year-old girl last night, they said. However, the victim was saved due to the timely intervention of her family members. A case has been registered in this connection while the further probes are on, police added. PTI
