Major administrative reshuffle in Himachal
Shimla: In the first major administrative reshuffle since the change of guard in Himachal Pradesh, 37 officers, including four of the rank of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), four Principal Secretaries and six Deputy Commissioners were shuffled on Wednesday.
P Mitra, Additional Chief Secretary (Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj and Animal Husbandry) has been posted as ACS-cum-FC (Revenue Agriculture and Fisheries) while Prem Kumar, ACS (Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Cooperation and Tribal Development) as ACS (Home and Vigilance) with additional charge of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Cooperation.
Deepak Sanan, ACS-cum-FC (Revenue) has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (animal husbandry) while Ajay Mittal, former Principal Secretary to CM, also holding charge of Additional Chief Secretary-cum-OSD,(Co-ordination) to HP Government at New-Delhi, was posted as Additional Chief Secretary (Transport).
Principal Secretary (Urban Development, Town and Country Planning and Housing) Dr A R Sihag, was posted as Principal Secretary (UD, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj and Housing).
V C Pharka, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, also holding additional charge of Principal Secretary (Horticulture and YSS) would also get additional charge of Tourism, Tribal Development and Information and Public Relations, relieving Chief Secretary of charge of the Tourism.
Bharathi S Sihag, Principal Secretary (Forests), also holding additional charge of Principal Advisor (Tourism and Industries) at New Delhi, was posted as Principal Secretary (Forests, Environment and Science and Technology).
PC Dhiman, Secretary (Home, Vigilance and Information Technology has been posted as Principal Secretary (Information Technology) with additional charge of Social Justice and Empowerment and Principal Secretary (Lokayukta).
Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Jagdish Chander Sharma, also holding additional charge of Secretary to CM and Secretary (PWD) and Managing Director, HP Power Transmission Corporation was posted as Secretary (PWD) with additional charge of Managing Director, HP Power Transmission Corporation.
Onkar Chand Sharma, Secretary (Irrigation and public Health and Transport) was shifted as Secretary (Printing and Secretary) with additional charge of the post of Secretary (lPH).
Mohan Chauhan, Secretary, HP Public Service Commission goes as Director, Industries, Himachal Pradesh in place of JS.
Rana, who goes as Managing Director, General Industries Corporation, repatriating PK Sinha to his parent Forest department.
Dinesh Malhotra, Director, HP Institute of Public Administration, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Shimla in place of Subhashis Panda who has been posted as Director, Tourism and Civil Aviation with additional charge of Managing Director HP Tourism Development Corporation.
Maneesh Garg, Divisional Commissioner, Kangra at Dharamshala, also holding additional charge of the Divisional Commissioner, Shimla and Secretary (Finance) was posted as Director, Public Finance and Public Enterprises-cum-Secretary with additional charge of Advisor, Planning and Director, Information Technology.
Lokender Singh Chauhan, Managing Director, HP Tourism Development Corporation goes as Secretary, State Election Commission at Shimla.
Budhi Ram Verma, Secretary (Printing and Stationary) has been posted as Divisional Commissioner, Mandi with additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Kangra Division at Dharamshala.
Rajinder Singh Negi, Registrar, Cooperative Societies, also holding additional charge of MD, HP Agro Industrial Packaging India Ltd goes as Excise and Taxation Commissioner. He shall continue to hold the additional charge of the post of MD, HP Agro Industrial Packaging India Ltd.
Amandeep Garg, Deputy Commissioner, Kullu, who is also holding additional charge of the post of Special Secretary (Health) and Mission Director, NRHM, was posted as Director, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj-cum-Ex-Officio Special Secretary (RD and PR) while Rajender Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Hamirpur, also holding additional charge of Director, Sainik Welfare, Hamirpur, as Director, HIPA, at Shimla.
