More details are tumbling out in the curious case of Sheena Bora's death.
Mumbai: More details are tumbling out in the curious case of Sheena Bora's death.
It has emerged that Sheena, daughter of Indrani Mukherjea who was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the murder, was allegedly in a relationship for seven years with Rahul, son of Indrani's current husband and former Star TV CEO Peter Mukherjea.
As per Zee Media sources, on the day Sheena was murdered, Indrani had reportedly called Rahul and asked him to drop Sheena at National College in Bandra which Rahul did.
From there, Indrani with the help of her driver forcibly took Sheena to Raigadh. In the forests of Raigadh, Sheena was allegedly murdered and her body burnt.
It has come to light that Indrani was reportedly opposed to the relationship between Sheena and Rahul, who had become close during their school days.
Police is even investigating whether any of Indrani's ex-husband had helped her in the crime.
Meanwhile, it has also come to light that Rahul had approached several police stations to lodge a missing complaint for Sheena but he was not entertained.
Till yesterday, it was believed that Sheena was Indrani Mukherjea's sister. However, Sheena's brother Mikhail Bora revealed on Wednesday that the duo were in fact Indrani's children.
Indrani Mukherjea was arrested by the Khar Police last night following questioning over her alleged role in the murder of Sheena Bora in 2012.

Indrani was produced before the Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate court, which remanded her in police custody till August 31.
Mikhail said that he has no doubt his mother Indrani killed his sister Sheena.
Peter Mukherjea also said that he was unaware Mikhail and Sheena were Indrani's children.
“Sheena and Mikhail were introduced to me as Indrani's siblings by Indrani herself,” Peter said.
“I was also told that Sheena was sent to the US for further studies (when she disappeared). I was completely in dark (about the entire matter),” Peter told the channel.
Indrani's driver, a co-accused who was picked by the police few days back in connection with the murder, too was arrested yesterday.
