Mikhail Bora, Sheena Bora's brother, continues to be a significant character associated with the murder mystery after his claims about Indrani plotting to kill him too, were substantiated by the police.

The Mumbai police, however has so far been taking Mikhail Bora's claims with a pinch of salt.

While, many have already raised the question that if Mikhail was aware of Indrani's act of killing Sheena in 2012, why did not he speak up three years ago.

A report in the Quint may have an answer to this question.

The Quint reports that after Sheena's disappearance, when a close school friend of hers, went to visit her at Sundarpur residence in Guwahati, Mikhail had acted 'funny', telling her that she had been sent to US for studies.

The report adds that while Mikhail was receiving a Rs 15,000 allowance per month from Indrani, he might have started blackmailing her, demanding Rs 20-25 crore to buy a property in Bangalore.

What adds to the suspicion is that Mikhail, whose financial situation was not so sound during those days, had suddenly bought a Tata Aria car worth Rs 12 Lakh, says the Quint.

Mikhail has claimed that Indrani plotted four times to kill him. Mumbai police also detained a hitman hired by Indrani to kill Mikhail.
