Sheena Bora murder case: Police custody of three accused extended till September 5, Indrani faints in court
The Bandra court has extended the police custody of Indrani Mukerjea, wife of ex-TV honcho Peter Mukerjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai after they were produced before court on Monday in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case.

New Delhi: The Bandra court has extended the police custody of Indrani Mukerjea, wife of ex-TV honcho Peter Mukerjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai after they were produced before court on Monday in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case.
The police had sought extension of their custody for further interrogation in the case.

Meanwhile, Indrani has been charged with attempt to murder after her son Mikhail claimed that she tried to kill him on the day his sister Sheena Bora was murdered.
Indrani's daughter Vidhie was also present in the court for the hearing. When she met her mother, both of them hugged each other and then broke down.
She also reportedly fainted in court and recovered after a short while.
Police has also requested the court that they want to recover Khanna's passport.
Section 328 IPC (causing hurt by poison) has also been against the accused by Mumbai Police.
Mikhail had earlier claimed that Indrani had called him to her Worli residence and served him a spiked drink with an intention to murder him but he somehow managed to escape.

Indrani was arrested last week after she was accused of murdering her daughter Sheena Bora along with her driver and Khanna in 2012.
The three had carried the body and disposed it in Pen tehsil in Raigad district the next day.
