It has also been reported that the accused Indrani and Khanna had placed Sheena's body between them in a 'sitting position' to avoid suspicion during police checks on the way.

In a breakthrough, Mumbai Police has recovered the hired car in which Sheena was strangulated to death.

Meanwhile, the skeletal remains recovered from the Raigad forest which have been recovered are suspected to be that of Sheena Bora.

Digital superimposition of the profile of Sheena Bora has matched with the skull recovered from a forest in the neighbouring Raigad district, Mumbai Police has said, the PTI reported.

"Digital superimposition of Sheena's profile has matched with the skull found in Raigad forest," a senior officer of Mumbai Police said yesterday evening.

Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in the case, Peter and others who have come under the investigators' scanner in the murky family saga faced day-long interrogation at the Khar Police Station yesterday.

On Thursday, the police had claimed that Indrani confessed to murdering Sheena.

Indrani was arrested by Mumbai Police on August 25 on charges of killing Sheena on April 24, 2012 along with her driver Shyam Rai and Khanna.

Sheena was killed on April 24, 2012 and her remains were discovered near the Pen forests on May 23, 2012.
