Guwahati: As the murder mystery of Sheena Bora, Indrani Mukerjea's daughter, unfolds with stories of sleaze, betrayal and family feud, reports on Thursday claimed that Mikhail Bora was the next target of former media honcho.
In a sordid twist, reports claimed that Indrani Mukerjea, after murdering Sheena, had planned to kill her own son Mikhail Bora.
Reports say that Indrani had many times tried to persuade Mikhail to visit Mumbai so that he could be eliminated.
Mikhail, however, refused to go to Mumbai fearing for his life.
Reports further revealed that Indrani and her former husband Sanjeev Khanna used to pay Rs 40,000 to Mikhail to meet his daily needs.
Interestingly, speaking to the media in Guwahati, Mikhail today said that he won't venture out alone as he feared for his life. “If I go out, my friends will come with me. They are high-profile people, I don't want to take any risk.”
Mikhail further said that if Mumbai Police wants to question him, the officials should visit his residence in Guwahati as he cannot leave his grandparents alone.
Late Wednesday evening, police arrested a former husband of Indrani, the wife of former media honcho Peter Mukerjea. As until now closely-held secrets became public knowledge, Mumbai Police arrested Sanjeev Khanna in Kolkata.
Indrani was arrested by the Mumbai Police on Tuesday night.
In Guwahati, Mikhail on Wednesday revealed that Sheena was his sister, that Indrani had mothered both of them and this could be easily be proved by a DNA test.
Talking to a news channel, Mikhail Bora confirmed that Indrani is his and Sheena's mother.
Mikhail also revealed that Indrani and Sheena had a lot of conflicts.

Mikhail, who stays in Guwahati with his maternal grandparents, said he was certain that Indrani murdered Sheena and he would disclose the probable reason for the murder after he gets to know the statement his mother gave to the police.
He, however, ruled out property or money as the motive of the murder, as claimed by one of the theories doing the rounds surrounding Sheena's murder.
Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria said Sheena was murdered on April 24, 2012. Her body was found on May 23 that year after Indrani's driver Shyam Rai revealed the murder site to police.
Both Indrani and the driver were arrested on Tuesday on charges of killing Sheena and disposing off her body in Raigad, near Mumbai. A court sent Indrani to police custody till August 31.
