Srinagar: Two girls allegedly committed
suicide in separate incidents in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag
and Baramulla districts, police said here o Saturday.
A girl, in her teens, set herself ablaze inside her home
at Ashmuqam area in Anantnag on Friday, they said.
She was rushed to Srinagar-based SMHS hospital where she
succumbed to injuries.
In another incident, a teenage girl allegedly committed
suicide by consuming poison at her home in Tangmarg area in
Baramulla last night, police said.
The reason behind the girls taking the extreme step was
not immediately known.
