Woman SPO among 2 killed in mishaps in J&K

A woman Special Police Officer was among two persons killed and another injured in a mishap in Jammu region.

Jammu: A woman Special Police Officer was among two persons on Thursday killed and another injured in a mishap in Jammu region. SPO Kouser Fatima was killed and her relative injured when a motorcycle on which they were travelling on skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Balakote belt of Poonch district yesterday.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a bus today lost control and hit Qasim Din Gujjar, killing him on the spot on Jammu-Kashmir highway near Hotel Asia here, police said. PTI
