Activist Rahul Easwar attacked over beef at Kerala college

Kayamkulam, Kerala: Noted activist and author Rahul Easwer was attacked by a group of students at a college in Kayamkulam over his pro-beef ban remarks.
The incident occurred at Milad-E-Sherief Memorial (MSM) College where Rahul was invited as a guest speaker on cyber security.
The event went off peacefully but when he got into his car to go out of the college premises a group of students (and, possibly outsiders) surrounded his vehicle and shouted slogans against him.
They wanted him to take back his comments against beef.
Soon, the situation turned for the worse, leading to his car being attacked.
Shocked over the incident Rahul tweeted:

Rahul later said that there was no communal angle to incident, adding that the college management stood in his support and has promised action against the guilty.
