One killed, 23 injured as bus overturns near Balaghat

A passenger was killed and 23 others including the driver were injured when a bus turned turtle near Chikhlajodi village, on Monday.

Balaghat: A passenger was killed and 23 others including the driver were injured when a bus turned turtle near Chikhlajodi village, 35 km from here, on Monday morning.

Police said the bus was on its way from Balaghat to Mandla. The deceased was identified as Kanahaiyal Dhurve (30), while driver Aslam Khan was reported to be in a serious condition. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital here. PTI
