Mumbai: Three hotel employees were on Saturday found murdered on its premises in suburban Ghatkopar here, police said.
The incident came to light this morning when the victims -- watchman, sweeper and waiter -- were found stabbed to death in a hotel room, by another sweeper, they said.
According to police, the hotel was closed around 1.45 AM and the killings could have taken place in the wee hours when the trio were deep asleep as there are no signs of a scuffle.
Police suspect that the triple murder could have been orchestrated by an insider as the CCTV cameras were switched off at 2.15 AM and no further footage was available.
Cops also suspect that the murder could be the fallout of an old rivalry. The CCTV footage until it was on, is being studied and investigations are on, police added.
The bodies have sent for postmortem and further details are awaited.
