Shashi Tharoor`s Twitter account hacked, temporarily deactivated

New Delhi: The Twitter account of Minister of State for Human Resource Development Shashi Tharoor was hacked on Wednesday evening forcing the minister to temporarily deactivate his official account till the matter is resolved. Several bizarre tweets emerged from Tharoor`s official twitter handle which caught the attention of his followers. Interestingly, all the tweets from the hacked account were directed at Pakistani columnist Mehr Tarar. Tharoor upon realising that his account has been hacked, apologised to his followers and said that the twitter handle will be temporarily deactivated till the matter is resolved.

Tarar, surprised by the tweets, replied that she feels awful about what`s being tweeted. Apparently, the minister`s wife Sunanda Tharoor`s account was also hacked as a tweet directed at the Pak columnist was sent.
