Nasri has been banned after a four-letter tirade at journalists in the mixed zone following the quarterfinal defeat to Spain, reports Xinhua.
According to a statement posted on the federation website, the disciplinary commission also handed one match ban to Paris Saint-Germain striker Jeremy Menez who insulted a referee in the same match. Yann M`Vila and Hatem Ben Arfa, questioned over their poor attitude towards the team and coach Laurent Blanc received "a simple call to order," according to the statement. Players have ten days to appeal the sanctions. IANS
