Wenger warns Arsenal supporters to not expect `massive influx` of new players in summer

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly sent a warning to the club supporters that despite him trying to improve his squad during the close season, they should not expect a `massive` influx of new players.

Johannesburg: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly sent a warning to the club supporters that despite him trying to improve his squad during the close season, they should not expect a `massive` influx of new players.
Wenger said that it would be busy, but the main thing for them will be to keep the stability because they feel that they are close to the title.
Wenger said that Arsenal wants to add something that makes them even stronger, but number-wise it would not be massive, Sport24 reported. The Frenchman believes that the summer transfer window would force the clubs to delay moving the players because of this years FIFA World Cup in Brazil , which runs from June 12 to July 13. Wenger said that from his experience the World Cup years have always been very quiet until the tournament comes to an end, as no players can be reached during that time. The Arsenal boss said that everybody is focused in the country on their national team and there is not a lot happening and people are away, so he believes that this year again one will have to wait until July 15 to start going.
