Washington: NASA astronaut Scott Kelly,who's currently aboard the International Space Station (ISS), captured a stunning picture of the Earth being blanketed by clouds.

The astronaut posted the dazzling image on his Twitter account on Wednesday.

Kelly, who's on a year-long mission to the ISS, has been posting photos taken from 250 miles up to his half a million followers on Twitter.

In October, he broke the record for the most time spent in space by an American astronaut.

Kelly also just completed his second spacewalk on November 6, spending almost eight hours floating outside the space station to perform critical maintenance tasks.
