A Special Sub-Inspector was beaten up after he entered a house near Dhanushkodi allegedly in an inebriated state, and began sleeping, police said on Saturday.

Rameswaram: A Special Sub-Inspector was beaten up after he entered a house near Dhanushkodi allegedly in an inebriated state, and began sleeping, police said on Saturday.
Police said the SSI Karuppiah was bound with a rope and not allowed to go out of the house last night.
On a complaint from the local people, DSP Manivannan registered a case against the SSI.
