Teenaged son kills drunkard father

Coimbatore: A 19-year old boy was arrested on Monday on charges of killing his "drunkard" father by smashing the head with a grinding stone at his house in Sulur here.

Madesh, a daily wage earner, was a drunkard and used to pick up quarrel with his family members every day. When Madesh came home and started quarreling last night, his son, in a fit of anger, took the grinding stone and put on his father`s head, resulting his immediate death, police said. Krishnaraj, after investigation, was arrested today, they said. PTI
