TV channel Editor arrested on sexual harassment charges

Chennai:Editor of a private TV channel was arrested in the early hours today from his residence here following a complaint by a former woman employee, who alleged of sexual harassment, police said. He was arrested from his residence around one am, they said. Meanwhile, a statement from the news channel said their Editor was arrested on a "false" complaint filed by a former employee. She had made the complaint only after she was relieved of her duties in the organisation, the statement claimed, adding, police had not looked into the authenticity of the complaint before making the arrest.
