Three killed in clash over minor dispute in UP

Muzaffarnagar: Three persons were killed over a minor dispute which broke out after two motorbikes collided with each other at Malikpur village in the district here on Tuesday, police said.

The riders of the vehicles, identified as Kalwaurf Shahnawaz Qureshi (26) and Gaurav (25) engaged in a heated verbal duel after the collision, they said. Later, Qureshi was stabbed to death by Gaurav and his friend Sachin (25). However, hearing the victim`s cries for help, the locals rushed to the spot and beat the duo to death. A case has been registered in this regard. Meanwhile, adequate police personnel have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order. PTI
