Woman gang-raped in UP

Mahrajganj: A 26-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by three persons in Kolahi area, police said here on Saturday.

The victim was gang-raped by the trio when she was returning from the local market yesterday. The accused also looted Rs 20,000 cash from her, they said. "All the three men have been identified and raids were being conducted to arrest them," police said. A named FIR has been lodged against Pinto, Jahir and Ram Surat, they said. PTI
