Kolkata: The sprawling Brigade Parade Ground here will host three mega political rallies by the Trinamool Congress, the BJP and the Left Front in a span of 11 days from tomorrow, which will spell trouble for commuters in the metropolis.
After back-to-back victories in the panchayat and municipal polls some months ago, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will launch the campaign for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls from the Brigade Parade Ground tomorrow.
Banerjee today apologised for the inconvenience that might be caused to commuters in the metropolis for tomorrow`s mega rally.
Five days after the TMC rally, BJP`s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will address a rally on February five at the same venue.
"The rally to be addressed by Modiji and other top leaders of party will kick start the party`s poll campaign in West Bengal," state BJP leader Ritesh Tiwari told PTI here.
The Left Front will hold its rally at the same venue on February nine.
