Trinamool activists chop off panchayat employee’s ear

Kolkata: In a shocking incident, activists belonging to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress party on Thursday chopped off the ear of a panchayat employee in West Bengal’s Murshidabad district for defying party diktat.

As per reports, the employee had failed to report for work yesterday – the first day of the two-day nationwide strike called by trade unions.

TMC had issued a diktat asking all government employees to report for work despite the strike call.

Today, when the employee arrived for work TMC workers confronted him and when his explanation failed to satisfy them, they attacked him with a dagger. When the employee tried to save himself from being hacked, his ear got chopped off in the process.

Reports said the activists were shouting TMC slogans when they entered the panchayat office at Debipur in Murshidabad district.

No formal complaint has been lodged so far with the police. The victim has meanwhile been admitted to a local hospital.

Last week, Governor MK Narayanan had criticized Mamata Banerjee for removing Kolkata police commissioner RK Pachanda over police's handling of political clashes at a city college in which a policeman was killed.

Also last month, Narayanan had stated that there was prevalence of "a kind of goondaism and not political culture" in the state.

Shocking..Sad..The Ears of the trinamool workers involved in the incidence should also be chopped off. Their leader should be put behind the bars , as she is accountable for what her party workers(Goons) do.

The day before mamta misbehaved with media and keeps on increasing. When Gandhiji was thrown out of train he did not said anything to the train person but he attacked the root of this evil attitude.I think to some extent even media deserve for it to some extent. I have made an offer to the President of India to give me one chance to solve the problem of (1)Ayodhya (2)Huge mounting debt of the country(3)Population explosion without affecting the present system with my totally new concepts but I am still waiting for an appointment. Ironically every body wants change but nobody wants to change There is no substitute for honest and selfless work. Accroding to me root of this evil attitude is poor and mafia type of leadership which the country is facing today in short tail is shaking lion and when tail shakes lion position of lion is just like a dog

I just cannot understand, where we are heading into? Are we making our nation bright by supporting such Lumpen politicians. Already once glorified West Bengal has now became one of the backward state of India. There is no scope fr the bright talents over there. Instead of fighting against all such challenges our WB state is still holding bites on strikes, on the people remarks etc. Come on finish it off. lets dream for a better West Bengal.

Children of Bharatamata have to think whether they are under the supervision of human beings or devils. Even devils spare human beings but human beings never spare human beings which is the example of chopping of ear of Government employee in West Bengal. Representatives whom citizens of biggest democracy in the world elected are fit to run the state/country or they eat away the lives of citizens who brought them to power. What a shame for us. Even devils also ashamed of this type of incidents. God only save the poor citizens of biggest democratic country.
