China bus fire kills one, six injured

Beijing: One person died and six others were injured when a bus caught fire in northwest China`s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The bus caught fire suddenly around 11:30 a.m. Monday in Urumqi, according to rescuers, who added that the injured people were taken to local hospitals, Xinhua reported.

About 20 passengers were on the bus when the fire occurred, said the bus driver, who was also injured in the fire. IANS
