Two killed in floods in China

Beijing: Two persons were killed and three others went missing after floods hit northwest China`s Qinghai Province. Downpours battered Hualong Hui Autonomous County of Haidong City yesterday. Rain-triggered floods washed away six workers at a construction site, according to the city`s meteorological station. One of the workers has been rescued, state-run Xinhua news agency reported. Rescue work and investigation into the accident are under way, it said.
