To hide one lie they are telling 100 lies: Kirti Azad on AAP

After Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia revealed that Rs 12 crore were given for the sting operations, BJP`s leader Kirti Azad said that to hide one lie they are telling 100 lies.

New Delhi: A day after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia revealed that he has received a message from someone saying Rs 12 crore were given for the sting operations, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kirti Azad on Sunday said that to hide one lie they are telling 100 lies. “How did they know, that twelve crore rupees were paid for the sting operations? If they know, then they should show proof. These are all lies, to cover up the main issue,” Azad said.
Reacting strongly to the ‘Padma Shri Award on my foot’ remark of AAP leader Kumar Vishwas, Azad said: “Such talk shows the mentality of the AAP leaders. By saying this, he has shown how much respect they have for the Constitution, and, for the Awards given to people for working for India.” The sting, carried out by media organisation mediasarkar.com, was released on Thursday and showed AAP leaders, including Shazia Ilmi, candidate from south Delhi’s RK Puram, accepting donations without proper verification days before the December 4 Delhi Assembly polls. The eight AAP leaders were contacted for their help in the recovery of money from individuals and getting land deals done, and they readily agreed to extend their support in return of donations in cash to the AAP.
