Pakistan election results 2013: Imran Khan`s party concedes defeat Islamabad: Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan's party has conceded defeat to rival Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the landmark general elections in which it is set to emerge as second largest party.

"They have emerged as the largest party. I want to congratulate the party," Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf vice president Asad Umar told a Pakistani TV channel.

Pakistan election results 2013: Imran Khan`s party concedes defeat Trends from some 250 of the 272 parliamentary seats that went to the polls showed that the PML-N was set to bag in excess of 110 seats, while the Pakistan People's Party and Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf were lagging far behind with about 35 seats each.

To win a simple majority, a party or coalition would have to bag 137 of the 272 National Assembly seats for which polls were held.

Dear Pakistanis, Please stop being sad on PTI`s loss. This type of loss is bigger than any type of win that Nawaz sharif have. Ofcorse elections were rigged. There is no way only the pashtons like IMRAN KHAN and rest of the country like Nawaz sharif. At this point it just does not make any sense. But look at the bright side. Just the turn out it self is a huge victory for pakistan and smack on the face of terrorists and the rest of the world who thinks pakistanis are just a dumb nation with stolen nuclear war head. The transition of power from one civilian government to an other is itself a new dawn for Pakistan. We have proven to all these super powers and a self claimed power India, who have been trying to destroy us, demolish us, crush our spirits that WE ARE STILL STANDING.
