New Delhi: Just as excited we get on hearing the ultimate Bollywood 'Karan-Arjun' Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan meeting whether on a shoot or otherwise, similarly, eyebrows are raised when Aamir Khan clicks with SRK and recently the latter has been happening quite often.

As Aamir celebrates his birthday today, a special press conference was held where he not just cut the cake in media presence but also talked about various things. When asked about his chance meeting with SRK, PTI quoted him saying, “No, I met him (Shah Rukh) twice in the last few months. Once at Ajay Bijli's party, where we met after a long time. It felt wonderful spending time with him. Recently there was a get together at his place. We are meeting casually, just as friends. We haven't discussed work.”

Recently, Shah Rukh tweeted a picture along with Aamir and the team of Netflix, which started speculation that both of them might be coming on board for a project.

Aamir also addressed about his future venture 'Thugs of Hindostan'. Also, there have been various reports that the actor has been approached for a biopic on Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian to fly into space and the film is reportedly titled as 'Saare Jahan Se Achcha', as a tribute to Sharma's description of India from the space.

The actor has maintained that at present he has only signed YRF's 'Thugs Of Hindostan' and did not reveal whether he is doing the Rakesh Sharma biopic.

However, Aamir has been quoted as saying, “This year I am very excited for one thing. I am a fan of Amitji and this is my first chance of working with him. I am so excited... The kind of actor that he is, the level that he has... I am sure I will learn a lot from him and it will be a very memorable experience for me.”

Also, the 'Dangal' star denied that the heavy moustache that he is sporting these days is the final look for the movie.

"We are still experimenting with different looks. This is one among them. But this is not the final look."

Here's wishing Aamir Khan a happy birthday!
