Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh ties the knot with Jyoti Singh—Pics inside

New Delhi: One of most loved Bhojpuri stars Pawan Singh has tied the nuptial knot with Jyoti Singh in her hometown Baliya, in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. The couple solemnised their wedding in the presence of family and friends.

According to those who were invited, Pawan had registered his marriage on March 5, 2018, and the duo then married as per Hindu rituals on March 6. The family has remained tight-lipped about the wedding as it was a private affair.

According to Amarujala.com, both the families knew each other quite well and so the couple decided to enter matrimony. Jyoti is studying fashion designing reportedly while Pawan is a huge star in Bhojpuri cinema.

The actor hails from Ara in Bihar. He has featured in several hit Bhojpuri films such as 'Devra Bada Satawela', 'Bhojpuriya Raja' etc to name a few.

He rose to fame with superhit song 'Lollypop Lagelu' which became a rage after its release. In 2016, he was Pawan was honoured with the Best Male Singer in the International Bhojpuri Film Awards. This happens to be his second wedding.

Pawan recently entered politics and joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
