New Delhi: Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma is back in news. The king of comedy who is all set to make his comeback on the small screens with 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma', recently performed for Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi in Dubai, ahead of the start of its season 3.
Kapil, who is known for his comic skills, entertained the players with his stock of jokes. As per Geo TV, his interaction with cricketers Darren Sammy, Kamran Akmal, and Mohammad Hafeez was hilarious.
In one his questions aimed at Zalmi skipper Sammy, Kapil asked, "Why do people call you Khan?" "It's because of Afridi. And also, maybe, because I'm from Peshawar," replied the West Indian all-rounder.

I would also like to thank @KapilSharmaK9 for all the bursts of laughter and for interacting and performing with the Peshawar Zalmi players and the Shaukat Khanum kids. Best wishes for your new show brother. #ZalmiNightWithKapil pic.twitter.com/vaWmZCHojl

The Pakistan Super League season 3 begins on February 22 with the opening encounter slated between this season's newcomers Multan Sultans and defending champions Peshawar Zalmi.
In the meantime, we hear that Shiv Sena is apparently fuming over Kapil's decision to perform for Peshawar Jalmi. A leader of the party was quoted saying that comedian actor has been playing with the pride of the country by performing for Pakistani cricket team members. "This is absolutely wrong and we are against it," the leader added.
