New Delhi: The quirk box of talent, Ranveer Singh is known was recently seen at the launch event of badminton legend Prakash Padukone and Rahul Dravid's 'Centre for Sports Excellence' in Bengaluru.

Yes! Like a perfect doting boyfriend, Ranveer made sure to extend his support to the event which concerns Deepika Padukone. The actress took to Instagram and shared a picture from the event which announced the sports academy anchored by daddy and ace badminton champion Prakash Padukone and 'the wall' from cricketing world Rahul Dravid.

On the professional front, Ranveer and Deepika Padukone will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' which also stars Shahid Kapoor. After facing a lot of protests from certain fringe groups demanding a ban on the film, there has been uncertainty looming over its release date.

The film was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on December 1, 2017, but the CBFC is yet to provide a clearance to 'Padmavati' and so we the wait is still on.
