Mumbai: Kapil Sharma and his ladylove Ginni Chatrath had recently visited the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple to seek blessings ahead of the release of Firangi, the star comedian’s first venture as a film producer. The actor had introduced Ginni to his fans in March and if the latest buzz is anything to go by, the duo may tie the nuptial knot early next year.
According to a report in DNA a source said, “There is a lot of pressure from the two families. Ginni’s parents are keen that the couple makes their relationship official. Kapil’s mother also wants him to marry Ginni, whom she has grown fond of. Ginni had promised to consider marriage only after Kapil cleaned up his act. Now, that the stand-up comedian is completely off alcohol and in a much more relaxed frame of mind, he too seems to be in the mood to take the plunge.”
The season of wedding in India has begun and the world of showbiz is gearing up to attend weddings of Bharati Singh – Haarsh Limbachiyaa and Aashka Goradia – Brent Goble which is scheduled to be held in December.
And it is likely that Kapil and Ginni too may join the league of couples that are all set to take the marital plunge.
Ginni was seen with Kapil at the grand finale of Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil’ Champs 2017 recently.
Kapil’s The Kapil Sharma Show was pulled off air a couple of months ago reportedly due to Kapil’s deteriorating health condition. The comedian flew to Bengaluru to undergo treatment at an Ayurvedic clinic and resurrect his body and mind.
He returned to Mumbai to complete his film Firangi which is slated to release on November 24. The film directed by Rajiev Dhingra also stars Ishita Dutta. The trailer of the film was received well by the audience and it will be interesting to see the king of response it garners at the Box Office.
