New Delhi: The astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) never fail to entice us with stunning images taken from their vantage point in NASA's orbiting laboratory.

Scott Kelly, Time Peake and Jeff Williams clicked some of the most amazing never-seen-before photographs of the Earth from space.

This time, it's ISS Flight Engineer Kate Rubins who seems to have taken it upon herself to capture as many gorgeous views as she can to share with her followers.

The subject of Rubins' camera were the most perfect swirls in a lake, spiralling away, as though posing for the lens.

Even though there was no mention of the location in her tweet, her followers were blown away by this beauty of nature, since her tweet received 593 retweets and 1489 likes.

She wrote, “We captured swirls in a lake with a long 500mm lens – Earth is beautiful from space.”
