London, June 18: Queen of pop Madonna is going all out to make her new adopted daughter Mercy feel like a princess, and she has roped in actress and friend Gwyneth Paltrow to supervise the decoration of the tot’s room.Madge, who was given permission to adopt four-year-old Mercy last week, is currently renovating her 20million pounds New York townhouse before the arrival of the little tot.
“Madge wants Mercy to feel like a little princess when she arrives,” the Sun quoted a source as saying. “Gwyneth has a home in the Hamptons area of New York and Madonna was so impressed with her daughter Apple’s room that she asked Gwyneth to help her kit out Mercy’s new bedroom. “As well as all the items inside, she’s also commissioned a mini Georgian-style tree house for Mercy and David in her garden. “She’s been filling Mercy’s wardrobe at the same time. “She’s stocked up on cashmere sweaters, dresses and silk tunics and has had a new charm bracelet made for her. “It features a miniature bell, a Statue of Liberty, a map of Africa and lockets with photos of everyone in her new family,” the source added. Mercy, who will be joining the family in the next few days, will have porcelain dolls, antique teddy bears, a library of leather-bound children’s books, and ancient maps of Africa to adorn the walls of her room.
