Shiney’s maid contradicting her own statements?

Mumbai, June 22: There seems no end to the various kinds of stories that are cropping up since the day Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja was remanded to judicial custody for the alleged rape of his maid. And now, there is also a new turn in the story as far as the victim’s testimony is concerned.According to reports, there are evident discrepancies in the alleged victim’s testimony given earlier and her fresh statements. Inside reports suggest that another domestic help at Shiney Ahuja’s house, Sangeetha, has claimed to have asked the victim on the fateful day to accompany the former as she left the premises at about 5 pm but the victim refused to go with her and insisted on staying on in the house, in spite of knowing well that she was all alone in the flat. What’s really strange here is the fact that the victim had herself stated earlier that Shiney had allegedly tried to get fresh with her and tried to molest her the previous day, hence going by the statement, there was no way that she should’ve stayed at the actor’s house all by herself. “Even a simpleton would understand that no 17 or 18 or 20 year-old girl would want to stay alone in a flat with a man who had tried to molest or touch her or made advances towards her just a day before. She would have tried her level best to ensure that her “sister maid” was also there with her or would have tried to leave with the other maid”, said a source. Perhaps, only time will tell who the torchbearer of truth here is.
