Desciplined Zimbabwe restrict Oz to 262

Ahmedabad: A disciplined bowling effort by the Zimbabwean team saw them restrict the mighty Australians to just 262 after the stipulated 50 overs.

Defending champions Australia won the toss and elected to bat in the World Cup Group A match against Zimbabwe at the Sardar Patel Motera Stadium.

Australia, bidding for their fourth straight crown, left out Doug Bollinger, Callum Ferguson, John Hastings and Tim Paine from the 15.

Zimbabwe omitted Terrence Duffin, Greg Lamb - who is injured, Shingirai Masakadza and Tinashe Panyangara from their Cup squad.
