England now move to semis and even the Black Caps are in the hunt, it all depends on the next match to be played between Sri Lanka and Australia on Monday. Earlier, Tim Bresnan picked the wicket of Corey Anderson who hit one towards long-on and Anderson took another catch to his left. Cook continued with Bresnan even after he went for 19 runs in his previous over. Broad picked the big wicket of Williamson who hit one high towards mid-off where Anderson took an easy catch, the ball was reviewed for a front foot no-ball and that almost looked like a no-ball but the third umpire was convinced it was a legal delivery. The 21st over of the innings bowled by Tim Bresnan produced 19 runs for the Black Caps as Williamson scored a boundary and a six while Anderson too edged one past third man for a boundary! Corey Anderson has scored some productive shots so far, but he still hasn’t managed to score boundaries at regular intervals. 32 runs were scored in the last four overs and now the Kiwis need 55 from 24 balls. These two have so far added 53 runs for the sixth wicket. Corey Anderson is the new batsman at the crease and while Williamson is batting at 40, he needs some company, some big hits from the other end as well to make a match of it. 33 runs scored in the last five overs. Luke Ronchi was struggling to connect with the ball and his scratchy innings finally came to an end when he top edged a short ball from Anderson that went straight to Trott at third man. Kane Williamson came to the crease and Anderson struck again in the fourth over as Martin Guptill got an edge to an inswinger that knocked his stumps. In the penultimate over bowled by McClenaghan, Bopara too perished as he hooked a short ball straight to Williamson at square leg. Bresnan was run-out of the last ball of the penultimate over as he tried to steal a second run. Mills took his third wicket of the innings as Stuart Broad hit a short ball straight to Nathan McCullum who held on to another catch. The England innings came to an end when Tredwell worked the first ball he faced straight to third man where McClenaghan took an easy catch. England collapsed in the last four overs. At the end of the 20th over, they were 143/5 and they lost the remaining five wickets in the last four overs for just 26 runs. Morgan was the next batsman to be dismissed as he failed to execute a sweep shot and was struck on the pads. Ravi Bopara and Jos Buttler are the two new batsmen at the crease. 37 runs scored in the last four overs. Earlier Alastair Cook got another life after he was once again dropped by Nathan McCullum at midwicket off James Franklin again. It was the last ball of the 13th over from which Cook and Root had scored 12 runs off the first five balls. 29 runs scored in the last four overs. Root was given out lbw off Vettori’s bowling after which he reviewed the decision and it went in his favour as the hawk eye showed he got a faint edge to the ball. 29 runs scored in the last five overs. Cook got a life when he pulled the first delivery from James Franklin and was dropped by Nathan McCullum at midwicket as the ball went quickly at him. England have managed to slow down the pace of the innings in the last five overs. ==================================================================================== Over 4 || Score 29/2 England openers got off to a good start as they added 16 runs in the first two overs. Ian Bell got a life when he mistimed a ball from Kyle Mills and was dropped by James Franklin who ran back from mid-off, got under the ball, but spilled it at the last moment. McClenaghan struck off the first ball of his second over as Bell made some room for himself and spanked the ball through covers but it went straight to Brendon McCullum at short cover who took a blinder as it came extremely quick at him. Mills dismissed Trott in his second over as the right-hander flicked a half-volley straight to Nathan McCullum at short midwicket. Joe Root is the new man at the crease and he needs to stitch a partnership with Cook after losing two early wickets.
