India have defeated Australia in the first Test by eight wickets to take 1-0 lead in the four-match series. The focus now shifts to Hyderabad where the teams will draw swords for the second Test. India will look to take an unassailable lead while Australia will look to bounce back from this humbling defeat. R Ashwin , MS Dhoni have been the star of this comprehensive win. Ashwin took 12 wickets while Dhoni scored a maiden double century. ==================================================================================== INDIA Overs: 10 II Score: 49/2 (Pujara 7*, Tendulkar 13*) TARGET: 50 Master looks in a hurry! he has dispatched Lyon’s two delivery over long-on for two biggies! A bespectacled Virender Sehwag and Murali Vijay will hope to gain some confidence leading India to a win on their own. Jadeja gets the better of Lyon. Australia have been bowled out for 241 in their second dig. Jadeja gets the extra bounce as Lyon comes forward to block one. The ball goes to short leg after taking an inside edge and then hitting the pad. A simple catch to end Lyon’s stay. He scored 11 (77b, 4X1). India need 50 runs to win this Test. That stand between Henriques and Lyon was worth 66 runs.
