Matt Prior calls for ‘uniform use’ of DRS across all Test series

London: England wicketkeeper Matt Prior has insisted that the use of the Decision Review System (DRS) should be uniform for all the matches in the ongoing India Test series.
While the Indian cricket board, BCCI’s online match centre features its own hawk-eye footage for every delivery, the board time and again has refused to use the technology during the matches. “We are playing at a level now where there is a lot riding on decisions, so it would be great if the same technology is available for all the matches. It should be uniform for all series,” a daily quoted Prior, as saying. “I’ve always been a fan of DRS and I think if there is technology out there that can help and aide split second decisions then why wouldn’t you use it? We’ve seen in a number of series now where it has worked and worked very well,” he added. Earlier, the man in charge of the Decision Review System (DRS), Ian Taylor had branded International Cricket Council’s (ICC) handling of the technology as a ‘joke’ and also feared that players` careers could be harmed by its incorrect use.
