New Delhi: From India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni to sprint king Usian Bolt, the twitter world today(on Tuesday) went crazy after Chris Gayle`s breathtaking T20 world record score of 175 off 66 balls.
Everyone doffed their hats at the Jamaican after he produced what will go down in history as the most talked-about innings in T20 cricket.
Dhoni, in fact, paid a tribute, joking that it was a good decision in hindsight that he took up wicket-keeping instead of bowling after watching Gayle`s relentless onslaught.
"Life is all about taking the right decision, seeing Gayle bat today I think I took the right decision of being a wicket keeper," Dhoni tweeted.
If that was not enough, he again showed his witty side after the `Sir Jadeja series`.
"HAL suspends all test flts of TEJAS Light combat aircraft whenever RCB plays in banglore, no wonder its behind schedule. Thanks to Gayle," was another of his tweets.
