New Delhi: Claiming that he had never faced problems negotiating Indian spinner in the recent Test series, big-hitting Australia opener David Warner said if the opponents have all spinners in their attack, the wickets will go to them only.
"I don`t think I struggle against spin at all. I think, the reason why we got out against spin in the Tests was that they had only spin bowlers bowling. So you are bound to get out to spinners only," Warner said when asked how he was planning to play spin in the IPL.
The Delhi Daredevils opener was dismissed by Kolkata Knight Riders` mystery spinner, Sunil Narine, in the opening match on Wednesday.
Warner said the batters need be more sensible in the upcoming matches as many of them were dismissed playing bad shots in their six-wicket defeat.
"If you see, most of dismissed batsmen got out to silly shots. We need to be more careful and should show greater responsibility," he said, adding that one of the top-four batsmen needs to bat throughout the 20 overs to take the side to a competitive total.
Talking to reporters on the eve of their second match against Rajasthan Royals, Warner said his side would be looking to raise their game, including fielding.
"We didn`t have a great last game. Our fielding was also uninspiring. We are hoping to do better in our home game on Saturday." he added.
The Delhi Daredevils would miss the services opener - Virender Sehwag - for the second game in a row, as he hasn`t fully recovered from back spasms.
