Sahil Peerzada issued notice over gold fraud

Mumbai: Sahil Peerzada, who made headlines during the IPL molestation row, has been summoned by the Mumbai Income Tax department for alleged gold fraud. The notice has been issued in connection with the fraud that took place four years back in which Sahil along with another person named Raees Khan had defrauded a metal scrap trading corporate of Rs 464 crore. Raees, who was arrested in 2011, has claimed Sahil to be the mastermind behind the con. Sahil Peerzada is the fiancée of the American women who had accused IPL player Luke Pomersbach of molestation but later withdrew the charges against the Australian. Peerzada was quizzed by the CBI two years ago for the same but was let off after failing to establish his connection with the scam.
